The Want-Listing Share Card Sphere Play

Turn every syndicated Want-Listing into a content piece your sphere shares for you - putting your buyer work in front of people outside your network.

What you'll learn

  • How to use auto-generated share cards as social and email content
  • Why this works better than a 'just sold' post
  • How to ask your sphere to amplify without being awkward
  • What inbound this generates

Before you start

  • A Want-Listing with Gitcha syndication toggled on
  • A sphere - past clients, friends, colleagues, your social network

Most agents post "just sold" or "just listed" content. It's the standard playbook because it's what they have to share. The problem is that "just sold" is a brag and "just listed" is a sales pitch - your sphere scrolls past them.

A Want-Listing share card is different. It's not about you. It's about a buyer who's looking. Your sphere shares it because they want to help.

The mechanic

When you syndicate a Want-Listing to Gitcha, BLS auto-generates share cards - branded graphics built from the Want-Listing's structured criteria, sized for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. The card shows the buyer's ask in clean visual form (price range, location, must-haves) without exposing the buyer's identity.

The card is shareable content. Your job is to get it shared.

The post

Post the share card to your own social with text that frames it as a service announcement, not a brag.

Sample LinkedIn / Facebook post:

Helping a buyer find a home in Old Town Scottsdale. $850k-$1.2M, 3+ beds, golf course access preferred. If you or someone you know is considering selling in that area, send them my way - my buyer is pre-approved and ready to write an offer this quarter. Share if you can.

Three things this post does:

  1. Frames you as the active worker - "Helping a buyer" instead of "Just listed"
  2. Makes the ask concrete - your sphere knows exactly who to forward to
  3. Invites participation - "Share if you can" gives them a one-tap action

Why this works better than "just sold"

A "just sold" post is past tense and self-congratulatory. People scroll. A buyer-Want-Listing share card is present-tense and points at a real opportunity. People who know someone thinking about a move in that area now have a reason to act.

You're also doing something your competition can't replicate. The Want-Listing isn't a generic "I have a buyer looking in the area" line - it's a structured, agent-posted ask with real criteria. The share card visualizes that. Selling a home becomes a specific, near-term proposition for the people who see it.

How to ask your sphere to amplify

You don't need to ask everyone. Pick 5-10 high-leverage people in your sphere and send them the share card directly with a personal note.

Sample DM / text:

Hey [Name] - I'm working with a buyer looking in [area] right now and posted a Want-Listing for them. Would you mind sharing this card to your network? If you know anyone considering selling there, please send them my way directly. Thanks.

5 amplifiers in your sphere each have their own networks. One Want-Listing share card can land in 5 different sub-spheres in an afternoon.

What inbound this generates

The share card is doing two jobs at once:

  1. Direct responses - someone in the extended sphere who's been thinking about selling sees the card and reaches out (either through Gitcha syndication or directly to you)
  2. Buyer client validation - prospects considering hiring you see that you're actively working for buyers, which closes the "is this agent active?" question

Both compound. The direct responses become listing conversations. The buyer client validation becomes new buyer contracts.

How to keep the cadence right

Don't post a share card for every Want-Listing - it dilutes the signal. Be selective:

  • Post when the niche is interesting. A specialty Want-Listing (luxury new construction, equestrian, $5M+) gets more engagement than a generic 3-bed 2-bath.
  • Post when you have something to learn. New share cards land differently than reposts of the same one. Variety matters.
  • Post when the buyer's timeline is tight. Urgency is shareable.

What not to do

  • Don't expose the buyer. The card never shows names, contact info, or specifics that identify them. The criteria are public; the person isn't.
  • Don't post and ghost. If someone reaches out from the share, respond fast. Responses from social have a 24-hour decay curve.
  • Don't compete with your sphere's posts. If your sphere is actively posting other content, time the share card for when they're scrolling, not posting.
  • Don't repost the same share card three times in a week. Once per Want-Listing, refreshed if the buyer's criteria meaningfully change.
